How does DrQuickLook™ differ from intraoral cameras (IOC’s)?
DrQuickLook™ is a complete, stand-alone system ready to use right out of the box, From live survey mode you can freeze one image at a time and even zoom by 3X for a large view of the problem area. Instead of powering up a computer, loading software and struggling with USB cables, you can get right to work educating patients about their dental conditions. Instead of watching a computer monitor across the room, your patient can hold the display screen right in front of his or her face. Instead of paying thousands of dollars for one IOC for your entire practice, you can afford to have a DrQuickLook™ in every operatory. No IOC is as simple, easy to use or affordable as DrQuickLook™!
How does DrQuickLook™ impact staff productivity?
DrQuickLook™ reduces explanation time, because patients quickly see the dental problem and comprehend the need for intervention.
It fosters patient trust and acceptance in the practice, since “seeing is believing.”
Staff no longer needs to spend time hooking up USB cables or powering up a computer – just pick up the camera, show and tell.
With a DrQuickLook™ in every operatory, there’s no longer any need to share coveted equipment or haul it from room to room.
Why would I want a DrQuickLook™ in every operatory?
A DrQuickLook™ in every operatory obviously eliminates the need to move equipment from room to room, maximizing staff efficiency. It also has the morale-boosting benefit of giving each staff member a DrQuickLook™ on his or her own “turf” without having to share or hunt for coveted equipment. Most important, it allows you and your staff to make intraoral imaging a routine part of every patient’s visit, significantly increasing productivity and profitability.
How does the auto shut-off work?
Our Motion Smart Chip Technology is essentially a ball bearing which touches two electrical contacts when positioned upright producing a closed circuit. When the sensor is horizontal, the ball bearing rolls away from the two electrical contacts and produces an open circuit. The result is, when the unit is vertical it stays on, when the unit is horizontal (in hand or placed on a counter), it “auto shuts down” in 2 minutes, conserving battery life.
Rechargeable batteries, what is the replacement procedure and cost?
The rechargeable batteries have a life span of about 3 to 4 years before needing replacement, like all rechargeable batteries eventually they will not last as long on a full charge so the time to replace them has come.
